Preaching and Fun in Ecuador

Houston Day 1 Leg 2

Upon entering the steamy cabin of the aircraft my gaze fell upon our stewardess. Gushing from my lips were words expressing a hunger. A hunger not for bread and a thirst not for water … but a hunger nonetheless. I asked for a turkey sandwich. She promised nothing more than pretzels. I was to be pleasantly surprised later. Immediately after takeoff she was at my seat with a large bag containing 3 bags of pretzels and a bag of wavy ruffles potatoe chips. The captain called the passenger cabin noticing the stewardess was not in her seat. I think I got her fired. Just kidding. The lady next to me also volunteered to give me food and she hooked me up with chocolate covered pretzels. After a rocky flight we arrived in Houston. It is not a big Texas sky day. It is dreary and there is a constant drizzle. I expect no travel delays however. Each and every weather report in the succeeding blog entries is dedicated to my father, who always asks about the weather. We ate at the famed restaurant Papadeaux. I thought of you Jason and the good times we had there, hey! remember that time! I am also thinking of Jason now as I watch the Broncos play football. I will update the succeeding legs of our trip later.
