Congregation news
Howdy folks!
I wanted to tell you all some exciting congregation news….another family moved in to our congregation the week we were at the English Assembly. The parents are pioneers, the dad is a Servant, and they have three kids (ages 11, 8, and 3). Also, there were two new pioneers announced so we are now up to 36 publishers, 13 pioneers, 1 elder, and 3 servants!!! So, they have formed a third book study group and Nathan is going to be the Bookstudy Overseer!!! The new bookstudy arrangement starts next week after our District Assembly. Yep! We´re going to another District Assembly this coming weekend. It is in Riobamba. The congregation is renting a bus for us to all go in. We will drive back and forth every day. Nathan and I have been going out in service every day in the Invitation work. I think people here actually come to the Assembly!!!
Our meeting schedule is like this: Thursday at 6:00pm - School and Service meeting. Saturday at 4:00pm - Public Talk and Watchtower Study. Sunday at 11:00am - Bookstudy. Cool, huh? I´m sure this schedule will take some getting used to, but pretty much everything here will!
We were able to move in to our temporary apartment this past Thursday and we might be able to move in to our real apartment as early as next week.
Oh yeah! The congregation is throwing us a Welcome Party today at 5:00! I´ll make sure we take pictures. Until then, here are some pictures I didn´t get to post the other day. Several of them are supposed to be little videos, but we haven´t figured out how to post them yet. We´ll keep working on it though, because the videos are great!
Love you all so much,
Jennifer
