Preaching and Fun in Ecuador

Cowgirl For a Day

Guess what I did today…I went horseback riding!!! You guys, I have never really been horseback riding. It was just so much fun. Of course, at first, I was a little timid about it cause I didn’t know if the horse would listen to me or not. But after a little while I got up the guts to go ahead and try to make it run in a field. It didn’t really want to go as fast as I wanted it to, so it ended up being quite bumpy. It was still fun, though. Oh, so if that wasn’t enough to make the day worth it…I also milked a cow!!! Oh that’s right. I was totally squatting down with my hands on it’s udders milking it in the middle of a field. It was kindof hard at first, because I didn’t want to hurt the cow. Then I watched a calf ram its head into the cow’s udders and though, ‘Well, I’m definitely not going to be as rough as that, so I guess I just have to get in there and do it.’ So I did. Let me tell you, I think being a masseur and a cow milker go hand in hand. (Pardon my pun.) I think if you do one, you could do the other. It’s all about strength and endurance. I think you’d have really strong hands. It was a neat experience. I’ve always wanted to do that. I don’t know why exactly, just have. Both in the same day! It was great! Oh ya, I have evidence. You didn’t think that I’d ride a horse and milk a cow without getting it recorded, did you?! No way!! It was way cold, too. Something I’ve learned here: the more clothes…the better. hehe. I wish I knew what the weather was, but I have to say that it was one of the coldest day I’ve experienced here. The rain and the wind only made it worse. hehe. Thankfully it practically quit raining when we went to go riding. It ended up working out quite nicely. I hope we can go again. There is video of Jennifer on the horse, too. Can’t leave that out. I hope to add the pics and videos to this. If it works…enjoy!
