Volcanic activity

We went on a picnic Monday so I wanted to give you a few pictures. We ate guniea pigs! That is SO gross!!! I don’t like them. They taste like fish. Nathan says I’m crazy. He liked them ok, but didn’t think they were great.
Also, the volcano that is about 2 hours away from us erupted Tuesday night. We were woken up at about 1:00 am Wednesday morning by rumbling in the ground which made our entire house shake. This lasted until about 9:00 am Wednesday morning. We couldn’t get any sleep, but other than that, we were not affected. They closed the schools here for fear of falling ash, but so far none has fallen here.

Thanks for the pictures the one near the bridge and the of the volcano look beautiful. I especially like the one near the bridge for some reason it reminds me of here. I’m surprised that different parts of the earth can still look similar. (yes, that sounds crazy, oh well..)
